Wales National Airshow 2013 – The Red Arrows!

I managed to get the chance to head down to Swansea bay by myself the other week to catch the amazing red arrows as part of the Wales National Airshow.
They were absolutely brilliant!  The skill involved in what they do is just incredible!
It was a beautiful day for it in Swansea bay and it was so, so hot on the beach.  I was really glad that I managed to get down on my own, it was so busy down there, it would have been a nightmare trying to keep track of a very active 2 year old!  Not a chance I would have been able to take any photos if Rhys had been with me!
Did you make it to the airshow?  What was your favourite part?  I’m already looking forward to the next one in 2015!

The quiet moments

Having children can be stressful, exhausting and downright infuriating at times; but through all of that there are those quiet moments where you stop and look at these amazing little people and all the stress fades away. Watching them sprawled out in bed, safe and content is just a beautiful sight.

You just have to make sure that once you’ve finished peeking you can creep out of the room quietly enough so that you don’t wake them up!

This was a week of sun-dresses, making and jumping in ‘muddy puddles’, new sandals and red arrows!

A moment of courage!

This quote just really made me smile!  I wouldn’t be able to relax for a second if I took Rhys to a house with white carpets.  I’m so happy the floors in our house are mainly laminate; so much easier to clean than carpet!

Project 365

It’s been a bit of an odd few weeks here recently.  My Nan passed away and it’s sort of thrown me out of my routine.  So here is a quick catch up of my project 365 for the last two weeks; made up of household chores, splashing in the bath, special time with Daddy, yummy treats, a train journey to Bristol, seeing 3 of my beautiful nieces, relaxing with the Gilmore Girls and making the most of the sunshine!
